July 29th, 2014 - Mechanical Issues Strike the Team at Shawano
1Tuesday found the team traveling to Shawano Speedway (Shawano, Wisconsin) for a $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event.

Thirty-three entries converged on the 1/2 mile oval, and Chase started his outing on a strong note. After qualifying eighth fastest in Group A during time trials, he raced to a heat race win to lock into the redraw for the 50 lap finale. In the redraw Junghans was the recipient of the eighth starting spot on the feature grid. He was battling in the top ten during the main event when a mechanical failure brought his night to an early end. Chase was credited with a nineteenth place finish in the final rundown.

July 26th, 2014 - Chase Rockets to Twelfth Place Finish at Fairbury!
1Chase Junghans entered the 25th Annual Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) over the weekend.

Sixty World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Models converged on the historic 1/4 mile oval for the $25,000-to-win program. Chase qualified thirteenth in Group A of time trials on Friday night, and went on to finish fifth in his heat race which left him two spots short of a transfer to the main event. As a result he would have to run a b-main on Saturday where a seventh place finish left him short of a locking into the finale. Junghans used a WoO Emergency Provisional to start 27th on the grid for the 100 lapper. Despite starting at the back of the pack, Junghans passed fifteen other competitors during the course of the event to register a twelfth place finish at the checkered flag.

July 24th, 2014 - Junghans Continues World of Outlaws Rookie Chase
1Chase Junghans continued his chase for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series Rookie of the Year title on Thursday evening. The team invaded Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) for a $10,000-to-win race, as twenty-five entries registered for battle. Chase starting is outing by timing in sixth overall during qualifications, and later finished second behind Darrell Lanigan in heat race action. Junghans drew the fifth starting spot for the feature, and battle around the top five for much of the event before settling to a twelfth place finish at the checkered flag.

July 18th, 2014 - Chase Junghans Enters Wild West Tour with WoO
1Looking to capitalize on last weekend's victory, Chase Junghans was back in action with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series on Thursday night. Forty-three Super Late Models converged on Hibbing Raceway (Hibbing, Minnesota) to kick off the annual Wild West Tour. In preliminary action a third place finish in his heat race would position chase starting tenth in the $10,000-to-win main event. During the course of the 50 lap feature Junghans battled around the top ten for much of the event before crossing the finish line in eleventh.

On Saturday night the team set out to enter the annual Gopher 50 at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota), unfortunately the event was pushed back to Sunday evening after being nixed by rain. Thirty-one Super Late Models registered for battle at the 3/8 mile oval, and a fourth place finish in heat race action earned Chase the eleventh starting spot for the 50 lap finale. During the course of the main event Junghans battled around mid-pack throughout the event before finishing eleventh in the final rundown.

The WoO Late Models were back in action on Tuesday night at Brown County Speedway (Aberdeen, South Dakota) for another $10,000-to-win program. Twenty-seven competitors registered for battle, and a sixth place finish in the second heat race positioned Chase starting seventeenth on the feature grid. In the 50 lap main event Junghans advanced four positions to a thirteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

Friday night took the team to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for another round of the Wild West Tour with the WoO Super Late Models. Thirty-two entries filled the pit area, and after qualifying sixth in his group Chase went on to finish second in heat race action behind Darrell Lanigan. As a result he was sent to the redraw for the 50 lap feature where he received the fourth starting spot. Junghans battled around the top five for much of the $10,000-to-win main event before settling to a tenth place finish in the final rundown.

July 5th, 2014 - Chase Junghans Grabs First Victory of 2014 at Belleville
1With weekend off from the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series tour, Chase Junghans took the opportunity to enter a pair of National Championship Racing Association (NCRA) events.

Action opened on Friday night at 81 Speedway (Park City, Kansas) as sixteen NCRA Late Models registered for the event. Junghans charged from sixth to claim the win in his heat race, locking him into the pole position for the finale. In the feature he finished third behind race winner, Kyle Berck, and Chris Kratzer.

On Saturday night the team traveled to Belleville High Banks (Belleville, Kansas), as seventeen entries filled the pit area at the 1/2 mile oval. Chase once again claimed a heat race win to lock into the outside front row starting spot alongside Dean Moore for the feature. Junghans bolted to the race lead at the drop of the green flag and led the entire 25 lap distance for his first victory of the 2014 season over Kyle Berck, Mike Wiarda, Jeremy Petty, and Scott Phillips.
