October 25th, 2014 - Junghans Makes 20th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic
1Chase Junghans was back in action over the weekend the Shop Quik Racing team competed in the 20th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi).

A stout field of forty-eight competitors looked to chase the $15,000 top prize, and via time trails Junghans locked into the seventh starting spot for his heat race. He advanced to a fourth place finish, which left him one spot short of the transfer and sent him to a b-main on Saturday.

Chase raced to a second place finish in his b-main, earning him the 24th starting spot on the grid for the 100 lap finale. Junghans was running just outside the top ten when he made contact with an infield tire and retired to a thirteenth place finish in the final rundown.

October 11th, 2014 - Chase Junghans Competes in Cotton Pickin' 100
Chase Junghans and the Shop Quik Racing team made the trip to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the 11th Annual Magnolia State Cotton Pickin' 100.

The $20,000-to-win program drew a field of seventy-two Super Late Models to the 3/8 mile oval, and Friday night's preliminary action found Chase locking into the fifth starting position in his heat race via time trails. He charged to a second place finish, earning him the seventh starting spot in Saturday's 100 lap finale.

When the main event went green on Saturday, Junghans battled amongst the top ten early on before the handle on his #18 Shop Quik/Capital Super Late Model began to fade as he settled to a fourteenth place finish.

October 5th, 2014 - Junghans Enters a Pair of LOLMDS Events in Georgia
1Chase Junghans made the long haul to the state of Georgia over the weekend for pair of $10,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events.

Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) was the destination for the team on Saturday night at they competed in the annual Dixie Shootout. Forty-five Super Late Models registered for the event, and struggles in heat race and b-main action saw Junghans ultimately failing to reach a transfer position into the 50 lap finale.

Sunday evening took the team to Rome International Speedway (Rome, Georgia), as thirty-four entries registered for battle. Chase missed the transfer to the feature via heat race action and had to run a b-main. He advanced to a fourth place finish in his b-main but, only the top three moved on to the main event, bringing his night to an early end.
