February 20th, 2016 - Junghans Heads to Volusia for DIRTcar Nationals
aMaking his way four hours south, Chase Junghans headed to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Monday night for the opening night 45th Annual UMP DIRTcar Nationals. With forty-four cars signed in, Junghans made hard contact with the wall in qualifying bringing an early end to his night.

Competing in the final night of the 45th Annual UMP DIRTcar Nationals, Chase Junghans was one of fifty-five cars signed in on Wednesday. Trying to battle back with his secondary car after hard contact with the wall on Monday night in his primary car, Junghans logged a 7th place finish in his heat. Transferring the top two into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Chase retired a 9th place outing.

aBeginning the first night of World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO) action, Chase transferred into the B-Main after placing 8th in his heat. Coming up short of a transfer spot in his consolation event, Junghans had to rely on a provision to make the show. Starting in 26th, Chase Junghans improve nine spots in the 50-lap recording a 17th place finish.

On Friday night Chase Junghans earned a 5th place starting spot for his heat based off his qualifying time. Failing to hit a transfer spot in his heat, Junghans transferred into the B-Main. Logging a 7th place finish, Chase was granted a provisional into the $10,000-to-win main event. Gaining nine spots in the 50-lap A-Main, Chase Junghans notched a 19th place finish.

Wrapping up the 45th Annual DIRTcar Nationals, Chase was one of forty-nine entries signed in on Saturday night. Transferring the top three out of the heats, Junghans was sent into the B-Main after placing 5th. Failing to finish 2nd or better in his consolation event, Junghans relied on another provisional to make the feature. Starting in 27th, Chase Junghans gained three spots in the 50-lapper retiring a 24th place finish.

February 13th, 2016 - Chase Junghans Makes WoO Debut at Screven
aChase Junghans traveled to Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) on Friday night for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO) 2016 season opener. Drawing forty-six Super Late Models for the Winter Freeze VI, Junghans edged his way into feature event with a 4th place spot in his heat. Battling for the $8,000-to-win A-Main, Chase gained one spot in the 40-lapper recording a 15th place finish.  

Returning on Saturday for the second night of WoO action, Chase fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 6th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for one more shot at the feature, Junghans grabbed the last transfer positon with a 3rd place outing. Improving five spots in the 50-lap A-Main, Chase Junghans retired a 17th place finish.

February 7th, 2016 - Junghans Post 11th Place Finish at GIS on Saturday
aReturning behind the wheel of his #18 Shop Quik Racing/Capital Race Car, Chase Junghans made the trip to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Friday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing. Competing in a field of forty-five Super Late Models, Junghans registered a 7th place spot in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Transferring the top three into the $10,000-to-win feature, Chase fell one spot short with a 4th place outing.  

On Saturday morning Chase returned to Golden Isles Speedway for the makeup Edward Coggins Memorial honoring a late supporter of the speedway. Needing a 4th place spot or better in his heat to make the show, Junghans recorded a 4th place finish transferring him into the 30-lap A-Main. Later on in the afternoon, Chase Junghans came one spot short of a transfer positon in his heat with a 5th place outing sending him into the B-Main. Starting on the pole of the consolation event, Junghans notched a 2nd place spot in the rain-shortened 9-lap affair. With the rain settling in late Saturday night, the 60-lap main event was rescheduled to Sunday.

On Sunday Chase was slated to start on the 10th row of the final Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) feature at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia), paying $15,000 to the winner. Starting the A-Main off early with issues, Junghans got caught up wreck on a lap-3 restart bringing an early end to his weekend.
