May 29th, 2016 - Junghans Follows WoO Series to Moler and Tyler County
aPiloting the #18 Shop Quik Racing/Capital Race Car, Chase Junghans made the trek to Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) on Friday night for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO) sanctioned event. Following the 3rd fastest qualifying time in his group, Junghans secured his spot into the feature with a 3rd place outing in his heat. Battling for the $10,000 payday, Chase held his spot for all 40-laps recording a 9th place finish.

aSaturday night brought the WoO series followers to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the two-day Jackpot 100. In a field of thirty-three Super Late Models, Chase Junghans came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Soaring to a consolation win, Chase was slated to start 17th in the 40-lap A-Main. Improving three spots, Junghans logged a 14th place outing. (Todd Battin Photo)

Closing out the three-day Memorial Day weekend with the WoO Craftsman Late Model Series, Junghans followed up his 4th fastest time in his qualifying group with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Tim Dohm. Starting in 4th for the $10,000-to-win Jackpot 100, Chase Junghans fell back to a 11th place outing in the 60-lap affair.

May 14th, 2016 - Chase Scores Runner-up Finish in Billy Clanton Classic
aWith the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series having an off weekend, Chase Junghans traveled to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday night for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned Billy Clanton Classic. Competing in a field of twenty-six cars, Junghans was in contention for the lead late in the A-Main. Making the pass for 2nd with 5-laps to go, Chase hung on to a runner-up finish behind Shane Clanton with Riley Hickman, Richie Stephens, and Frank Heckenast Jr. rounding out the top five. May 7th, 2016 - Junghans Back in Action in the WoO Series
aFollowing the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO), Chase Junghans headed Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) on Friday night for the Kentucky Klassic. Falling one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 7th place outing, Chase cruised to a consolation win setting him up with a 19th place starting spot for the $10,000-to-win feature. Gaining two positions in the 50-lapper, Junghans registered a 17th place outing.

On Saturday night Junghans made the trip to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for another World of Outlaws $10,000-to-win show. In a field of forty-five Super Late Models, Chase logged a 6th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Coming up one position short for the feature, Chase Junghans was granted a provisional into the Mountain Outlaw 50 A-Main. Starting in 25th, Junghans advanced five spots logging a 20th place finish.
