April 21st, 2017 - Junghans Runs With USMTS in Home State of Kansas
aHopping behind the wheel of the Shop Quik #18 Open Wheel Modified, Chase Junghans visited Atchison County Raceway (Atchison, Kansas) on Thursday for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) sanctioned event. With 25 cars signed in for the 2nd annual Cage Match, Junghans secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win Casey's General Stores A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Stormy Scott. Rolling for 6th for the 50-lap affair, Chase pulled off on lap 48 while being credited with a 17th place outing.

aOn Friday Junghans followed the USMTS series to Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kansas) for the 6th annual Rumble on the River. Recording a 3rd place finish in his heat race, Chase earned the 10th-starting spot for the A-Main. Moving up one spot in the 30-lapper, Chase Junghans registered a 9th place finish. April 15th, 2017 - Top 5 Finish for Junghans in MLRA Opener at Lucas Oil Speedway
aOn Friday night Chase Junghans traveled to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) competing in the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) season opener. Drawing 41 Super Late Models for the two-day Spring Nationals, Junghans fell short of a transfer spot in his heat with a 5th place outing. Charging to a 12-lap B-Main win, Chase locked into the 17th-starting spot for the opening night feature. Wheeling his way into a Top 10 finish, Chase Junghans improved seven spots to place 10th.

aThe following night Junghans started off with a heat race win positioning him 4th on the starting grid for the $3,500-to-win A-Main. Hanging on to a Top 5 finish, Chase scored a 5th place spot behind Rodney, Sanders, Randy Timms, Jesse Stovall, and Will Vaught. (Todd Boyd photo)

April 2nd, 2017 - Chase Junghans Attends Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway
aReturning with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series on Saturday night, Chase Junghans was one of 41 Super Late Models signed in at Farmer City Speedway (Farmer City, Illinois) for the two-day Illini 100. Following the second quickest time in his qualifying group, Chase scored a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Chris Madden positioning him 4th on the starting grid for the $15,000-to-win A-Main. aOn Sunday for the rescheduled $6,000-to-win show, Junghans grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot in his 10-lap heat race locking him into the main event. Rolling off 14th, Chase dropped back to a 17th place finish in the 25-lapper.
