February 25th, 2017 - Chase Scores Top 10 Finish in DIRTcar Nationals Opener at Volusia
aChase Junghans headed to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Monday evening for the 46th annual UMP DIRTcar Nationals. In a field of 43 Super Late Models, Chase started the night off by posting the fastest time overall in his qualifying group. Starting on the pole of his heat, Junghans locked hismself into the opening night feature with a 2nd place finish behind Chub Frank. aThe following night starting 4th in his heat, Junghans came one spot short of a transfer position with a 4th place finish. Charging to a consolation victory from his front-row starting position, Chase rolled off 19th for the $7,000-to-win A-Main. Losing three positions, Junghans slipped back to a 22nd place outing.

aAfter losing Wednesday and Thursday’s UMP DIRTcar events to bad weather, Chase returned to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Friday World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned DIRTcar Nationals. Taking the Top 3 out of the heat, Junghans posted a 6th place finish sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 2 into the show, Chase fell one spot short with a 3rd place outing.

On Saturday starting 7th in his heat race, Junghans held his spot giving him one more shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Failing to place in the Top 3, Chase was granted a provisional into the main event. Coming from the tail of the field, Chase Junghans improved eight positions in the 40-lapper recording an 18th place finish.

February 18th, 2017 - Junghans Competes in WoO Opener at Screven
aOn Friday night Chase Junghans was one of 45 Super Late Models signed in at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series season-opener. Taking the Top 4 out of the heats, Chase came one position short with a 5th place finish. Starting on the pole of his B-Main, Junghans cruised to a 10-lap consolation win locking his spot into the A-Main. Moving up two spots in the 40-lapper, Chase recorded an 16th place finish.

aOn Saturday for the second and final night of the Winter Freeze VII, Junghans placed 8th in his heat giving him one last shot at the $10,000-to-win feature with B-Main appearance. February 11th, 2017 - Chase Junghans Begins 2017 Season at Golden Isles
aChase Junghans opened his 2017 racing season on Friday at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) season-opener. Drawing 51 Super Late Models for the two-day Rhino Ag Super Bowl of Racing, Junghans fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place spot. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night $10,000-to-win A-Main, Chase fell back to a 6th place outing.

Returning on Saturday for the $12,000 top prize, Junghans came up two spots short again in his heat with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for one final shot at the main event, Chase logged a 6th place finish bringing an early end to his night.

February 7th, 2017 - New Season and New Sponsors for Chase Junghans
Manhattan, Kansas (02/07/17) – There was no off season for Chase Junghans. The Kansas racer spent the past few months working day and night to prepare his Shop Quik Racing #18 Capital Race Car for what he hopes will be his most successful season to date.
