June 25th, 2017 - Chase Junghans Invades Lernerville for Firecracker 100
aChase Junghans returned with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series over the weekend for the 11th annual Firecracker 100 at Lernerville (Speedway Sarver, Pennsylvania). After persistent rain in the area washed out the first two days, Junghans was one of 45 cars signed in on Saturday for one $6,000-to-win preliminary feature followed by the finale paying $30,000 to the winner later on Saturday evening. Leading the night off with the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group, Junghans went on to place 3rd in his heat race locking him into the 10th-starting spot for the feature. aLater on Saturday night for the Firecracker 100, Junghans secured his spot into the A-Main with the 4th and final transfer position in his heat race. Starting in 16th, Chase gained three spots in the 100-lap affair to place 13th.

aOn Sunday night Junghans stopped at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, Indiana) for the 11th round of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour. In a field of 31 cars, Chase scored a 3rd place finish in his heat race positioning him 8th on the starting gird for the feature. With $5,000 on the line, Chase Junghans slipped back to a 12th place outing when the checkered flag flew.

June 18th, 2017 - Junghans Kicks Off Opening Week of the Hell Tour
aOn Wednesday night Chase Junghans traveled to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) for the opening round of the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals Hell Tour. Drawing 32 cars for the Hoosier Dirt Classic, Junghans ran into mechanical issues in his heat race preventing him from finishing. Needing to place 2nd or better in the B-Main to make the opening night feature, Chase came up short with a 5th place outing.

aReturning with the Hell Tour on Thursday, Chase was one of 29 Super Late Models signed in at Kankakee County Speedway (Kankakee, Illinois) for another $5,000-to-win A-Main. Following the second fastest time in his qualifying group, Junghans registered a runner-up finish behind Billy Moyer in his heat race locking him into the 4th-starting spot for the feature. The following night Junghans headed to Sycamore Speedway (Maple Park, Illinois) for the $7,500 top prize. After making hard contact with the wall in hot-laps, Junghans fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with 6th place outing. Transferring the Top 2 out of the B-Main, Chase charged to a 12-lap consolation win locking him into the 17th-starting position for the feature. Breaking into the Top 10, Chase Junghans advanced through the crowd eight spots reeling in a 9th place finish.

aFor the fourth round of the Summer Nationals Hell Tour, 29 cars visited Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Illinois) on Saturday. Following a 6th place finish in his heat race, Junghans stormed to another B-Main victory positioning him 16th on the starting grid for the feature. Coming one place short of a Top 10 finish, Chase jumped up five spots in the A-Main that was cut down by bad weather. Closing out the opening week of the Hell Tour, Junghans stopped at Daugherty Speedway (Boswell, Indiana) on Sunday for another $5,000-to-win A-Main. Battling rough track conditions throughout the night, Chase decided to withdraw from the event after qualifying to save equipment.

June 10th, 2017 - Junghans Makes First Ever Dirt Late Model Dream
aKicking off the 23rd annual Dirt Late Model Dream, Chase Junghans was one of 79 Super Late Models signed in at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday evening for the UMP DIRTcar sanctioned weekend. Grabbing the final transfer spot in his heat race, Junghans scored a 5th place finish locking him into the 20th-starting position for the feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top 10 finish, Chase gained eight spot in the 25-lapper to place 11th.

The following night for another round of preliminary features, Junghans fell two positions in his heat registering an 8th place finish. Needing to finish 4th or better in his B-Main to make the final $10,000-to-win preliminary A-Main, Chase slipped back to a 10th place outing bringing an early end to his night.

On Saturday rolling off deep in his heat race, Chase improved two spots in the 15-lapper to place 6th, transferring him into the B-Main for one last shot at the $100,000-to-win A-Main. Sending the Top 4, Junghans wheeled his way through the field seven spots, recording a runner-up finish behind Dale McDowell. Starting in 23rd for his first career start in Dirt Late Model Dream, Chase Junghans jumped up nine spots in the 100-lap affair reeling in a 14th place finish.
