With a stout field of 63 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries amassed for the second round of the 30th annual Show-Me 100 weekend, Junghans edged his way into the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature with the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Starting in 23rd, Chase was an early retiree from the 30-lapper on lap 18.
With his finish on Friday night relegating him into a B-Main on Saturday evening for one final shot at the $50,000-to-win Show-Me 100, Chase came two spots short of a transfer position with a fourth-place outing.
