April 26th, 2014 - Junghans Competes in Illini 100 at Farmer City
1Chase Junghans returned to action over the weekend with the annual Illini100 at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois). The World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model sanctioned event attracted thirty-six entries to the 1/4 oval, and on Friday night Chase fell just short of locking into the feature via heat race action, leaving him to run a b-main on Saturday.

In the b-main he failed to reach a transfer spot, forcing the rookie contender to use a Series Provisional to lock into the 24th starting position on the grid for the feature. During the course of the 100 lap finale Junghans advanced six spots on his way to an eighteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

Chase is currently eleventh in the latest WoO standings, full results from the event and complete series' standings are available at

April 12th, 2014 - Junghans Makes First Visit to Tazewell Speedway
1Chase set out to enter a pair of $10,000-to-win events on the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series tour over the weekend, but Mother Nature would nix the Friday night show at Duck River Raceway Park shortly after time trials began.

This found Junghans traveling to East Tennessee for a single event at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee). In his first ever visit to the high-banked oval Jungans would battle a talented field of twenty-four entries. Chase posted the ninth quickest time overall and went on to finish fourth in his heat race, locking him into the twelfth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. Despite a main event that plagued with cautions, the WoO Rookie of the Year contender advanced to a seventh place finish at the checkered flag.

A stout field of forty-three Super Late Models entered the $3,000-to-win event on Saturday night. Junghans started the night off picking up the win in his heat race to earn him the eighth starting spot for the main event. During the course of the feature, Chase raced around the top ten for much of the event before crossing the finish line in seventh.

A $2,000 top prize was posted on Sunday night, and Junghans earned the tenth starting spot for the heat race via his qualifying efforts. He would go on to a fifth place finish in his heat to earn the eleventh starting spot for the feature. During the course of the feature, Chase advanced to a ninth place finish in the final rundown.
