March 28th, 2015 - Junghans Enters King of America Modified Nationals
1With a weekend off from the busy World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series courtesy of Mother Nature, Chase entered the King of America V Modified Nationals at Humboldt Speedway (Humboldt, Kansas).

Piloting his brother Grant's back-up entry, Chase went into battle against a stout field of eighty-two Open Wheel Modifieds, all chasing the $10,000 top prize. The mega event featured dual heat races on Thursday and Friday, with drivers earning points toward Saturday night's 100-lap finale.

Thursday evening saw Chase register a second place finish in the first heat race after starting fourth. A steady rain moved in before Round #2 was complete, pushing the balance of the program to Friday night.

When competition resumed on Friday, Junghans advanced from seventh to finish fifth in the make-up heat race from Thursday. He went on to finish seventh in Round #3 before charging to a heat race victory in the final round. Chase's preliminary performance positioned him 20th in the final point standings.

Junghans' fell just short of locking into the main event via heat race action, forcing him to run a b-main where he started eighth. The top fourteen finishers advanced to the feature, and Chase was running in a transfer position until mechanical issues brought his night to an early end.
