June 25th, 2016 - Junghans Finishes 16th in Firecracker 100
aMaking the eighteen-hour trek east, Chase Junghans was one of twenty-seven Super Late Models signed in at Weedsport Speedway (Weedsport, New York) on Tuesday night for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series event. After posting the 19th fastest time in qualifying, Junghans battled back in the feature to finish in the top ten. Competing for an $8,000 payday, Chase Junghans notched a 7th place finish in the 40-lap affair.

aAfter the weather postponed the first night of the 10th Annual Firecracker 100, Chase was slated to start 6th for his heat at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pennsylvania) for the World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model Series event. Transferring the top three into the $6,000-to-win opening night feature, Chase logged a 8th place outing sending him into the B-Main. Falling back to a 6th place finish in his consolation event, Junghans had to rely on the use of a provisional to make the show. Coming from the tail of the field, Chase Junghans improved eight spots in the 30-lapper recording a 22nd place finish.

On Saturday afternoon Junghans placed 9th in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 4th place finish, Junghans would have to again rely on a provisional after dropping back to a 14th place outing. Passing two cars in the final preliminary feature, Chase Junghans retired a 24th place outing.

Later on for the finale, Junghans posted a 6th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Starting in 4th, Chase improved two positions notching a runner-up finish behind Mike Benedum securing his spot into the main event. Earning a 19th place starting spot for the $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100, Chase Junghans advanced three spots in the 100-lap A-Main logging a 16th place finish.

June 11th, 2016 - Chase Junghans Heads to Eldora for Dirt Late Model Dream
aKicking off the 22nd Annual Dirt Late Model Dream, Chase Junghans was one of seventy-two entries signed in at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday night for the three-day special event sanctioned by the UMP DIRTcar series. Transferring the top five out of the heats and into the opening preliminary feature, Junghans edged his way into the $5,000-to-win event with a 5th place finish. Starting in 19th, Chase worked his way through the field seven spots in in the 25-lapper recording a 12th place outing.

On Friday for night number two of preliminary events, Junghans lost an engine on lap 7 of his heat race after starting on the pole. Unloading his secondary car for the consolation event, Chase charged from the tail to place 4th securing his way into the $10,000-to-win feature. Starting at the tail, Chase Junghans advanced five spots in the 25-lap A-Main registering a 19th place finish.

Wrapping up 22nd Annual Dirt Late Model Dream, Junghans made contact with another car in his heat race sending him out of the event early. With one last shot at $100,000-to-win finale with a consolation event, Chase recorded a 11th place outing bringing an early end to his night.
