November 12th, 2016 - Top 5 Finish for Junghans in Showdown at Senoia
aPiloting the #18 Shop Quik Racing/Capital Race Car Super Late Model, Chase Junghans traveled to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Friday for the two-day Southern Nationals Bonus Series sanctioned weekend. Drawing 34 Super Late Models for the Showdown at Senoia, Junghans edged his way into the feature on Saturday night with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Rolling off 11th for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Chase advanced seven spots in the 60-lapper notching a 4th place finish behind Shane Clanton, Michael Page, and Brandon Overton with Jimmy Owens coming in 5th. November 6th, 2016 - Chase Junghans Heads to EAMS for National 100
aRunning in the three-day National 100, Chase Junghans invaded East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) on Friday for the unsanctioned weekend. Following the 8th fastest time in his qualifying group, Junghans secured his spot into the opening night A-Main with a consolation victory. Coming from the 14th-starting position, Chase improved nine spots in the 42-lap feature registering a 5th place finish behind Tim McCreadie, Dale McDowell, Jason Hiett, and Ivedent Lloyd Jr.

aThe following night in a field of 38 cars, Junghans logged the 8th fastest time again in his qualifying group transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 6 into the feature, Chase stormed to another B-Main victory giving him the 14th-starting spot for the A-Main. aClosing out the National 100 weekend, Junghans had already locked his spot into the grand finale with his performances the previous two nights. Starting in 10th for the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Chase fell back to a 19th place finish in the 100-lap affair.
