September 23rd, 2017 - Chase Junghans Records a Pair of Top 5 Finishes With World of Outlaws in Kansas
aFollowing the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series in his home-state of Kansas, Chase Junghans visited at Lakeside Speedway (Lakeside, Kansas) on Friday night. Holding his spot in his heat race, Junghans landed a 3rd place finish positioning him 9th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Passing two cars in the 50-lapper, Chase registered a 7th place finish.

aThe following night brought 25 World of Outlaw entries to Salina Highbanks Speedway (Salina, Oklahoma) for the Bravado Wireless Green County 50. After timing in twelfth fastest overall, Chase gained two spots in his heat to place 2nd behind Devin Moran. Rolling off 3rd for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Junghans jumped up one spot posting a 2nd place finish behind Brandon Sheppard with Rick Eckert, Chris Madden, and Devin Moran completing the Top 5 finishers. aClosing out the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned weekend, Junghans stopped at 81 Speedway (Park City, Kansas) on Sunday for the $8,000 top prize. Dropping one spot in his heat, Chase logged a 4th place finish earning him the 10th-starting position for the A-Main. Breaking into the Top 5, Chase Junghans improved six positions notching a 4th place finish behind Brandon Sheppard, Tyler Erb, and Austin Siebert with Shane Clanton coming in 5th.

September 16th, 2017 - Junghans Posts 12th Place Finish in Knoxville Nationals Finale
aChase Junghans returned to action on Thursday evening at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) for the opening night of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Knoxville Nationals. With 56 Super Late Models on hand, Junghans followed up the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Earning the 11th-starting position for the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Chase passed one car in the 25-lapper to place 10th.

On Friday night for another round of preliminary action, Junghans secured his spot into the main event with a 12-lap heat race victory. With $7,000 on the line, Chase improved five spots in the 25-lap affair registering a 7th place finish.

Wrapping up the 14th annual Knoxville Nationals on Saturday, Junghans had already locked his spot into the main event after coming in 18th in total points from Thursday and Friday evening. Rolling off 18th, Chase gained six spots in the 100-lapper notching a 12th place finish.

September 9th, 2017 - Engine Trouble Cuts Junghans World 100 Weekend Short
aOn Thursday night Chase Junghans kicked off the World 100 weekend at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) competing in a field of 105 UMP DIRTcar entries. Moving up one spot in his heat race, Chase recorded a 7th place finish transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night $10,000-to-win preliminary feature. Sending the Top 2 into the show, Chase came up short with a 5th place outing.

The following night rolling off 3rd in his heat race, Chase was an early retiree on lap 4 after smoke was seen flowing out from underneath the hood. After surveying the damage, Junghans was prevented from making it out for his B-Main on Friday and Saturday night’s program after suffering terminal engine trouble.

September 2nd, 2017 - Podium Finish Super Late Model at I-80 Speedway
aKicking off the busy Labor Day weekend, Chase Junghans visited I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) on Thursday evening for the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned event. With 22 Super Late Models on hand for the Rock N’ Roll 40, Junghans locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Making a charge for the lead in the closing laps, Chase came up short on the final circuit to place 2nd behind Chad Simpson with Terry Phillips, Chris Spieker, and Rodney Sanders completing the Top 5 finishers in the 40-lapper. aWrapping up the Labor Day weekend, Junghans headed to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Saturday for the Larry Phillips Memorial. Recording a 5th place finish in his heat, Chase earned the 15th-starting spot for the A-Main. With $5,575 on the line in the feature, Junghans improved three spots in the 50-lapper to place 12th.
