August 25, 2018 - 6th Place Finish in Dirt Million Prelims at Mansfield
aFriday night found Chase Junghans in action at Mansfield Motor Speedway (Mansfield, Ohio) for the inaugural Dirt Million. With 77 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand for a pair of preliminary features, Chase followed up the ninth fastest time in his group with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 9th, Junghans jumped up three spots in the 30-lapper to place 6th.

August 19, 2018 - Junghans Snaps Winless Streak; Victorious With the Outlaws at Eriez Speedway
aFollowing the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Chase Junghans invaded Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Delaware) on Thursday evening for the Fulton Bank 40. In a field of 25 cars, Junghans locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting in 9th, Chase passed one car in the 40-lapper logging an 8th place finish.

After Mother Nature wiped out Friday’s program at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania), Junghans was one of 36 World of Outlaws entries signed in at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pennsylvania) on Saturday night for the $10,000 top prize. Losing one spot in his heat, Chase logged a 7th place finish sending him into the B-Main. Passing two cars, Junghans recorded a 3rd place finish earning him into 22nd-starting position for the A-Main. Coming two spots shy of a Top-10 finish, Chase Junghans charged through the field ten spots to place 12th.

aOn Sunday night Junghans stopped at Eriez Speedway (Erie, Pennsylvania) wrapping up the Eastern swing with the World of Outlaws. Following the second fast time in his qualifying group behind Chris Madden, Chase cruised to a heat race victory positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the main event. Jumping out to an early lead, Junghans held the top spot for the first 36 circuits until Brandon Sheppard slipped by on lap 37. Wrestling back the lead on next circuit, Chase Junghans held off Sheppard in the closing laps to capture his first win of the season and a $10,000 payday. August 4, 2018 - Top 5 Finish in USA Nationals Finale at Cedar Lake Speedway
aChase Junghans was one of 36 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries signed in at Plymouth Dirt Track (Plymouth, Wisconsin) on Monday night for the $10,000 top prize. Holding his spot in his 10-lap heat, Chase posted a 10th place finish earning him the 20th-starting position for the opening night feature. Coming two spots shy of a Top-10 finish, Junghans gained eight spots reeling in a 12th place outing.

On Tuesday night at Shawano Speedway (Shawano, Wisconsin) for the Sun Drop Shootout, Junghans slipped back to a 8th place finish in his heat after being taken out by another competitor. Starting the feature in 23rd, Chase Junghans passed nine cars in the 50-lapper to place 14th.

Thursday night brought 45 World of Outlaws competitors to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) for the 31st annual USA Nationals weekend. Following the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group, Junghans landed a 3rd place finish in his heat positioning him 11th on the starting grid for the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature. Losing three spots, Chase logged a 14th place finish.

aThe following night for two rounds of heat races, Chase passed two cars in his first heat reeling in a 2nd place finish behind Chris Madden. Rolling off 5th in his second heat, Junghans jumped up one spot to place 4th. Gaining momentum as each lap passed, Chase Junghans improved five spots in the 100-lap main event registering a 4th place finish behind Brandon Sheppard, Brian Shirley, and Jimmy Owens with Bobby Pierce coming in 5th.
