Chase Junghans Begins Speedweeks at GIS

After Mother Nature wiped out Friday night’s opener, Chase Junghans returned to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Saturday evening for the second round of the RhinoAg Super Bowl of Racing. Drawing 45 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries, Junghans came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Scoring a runner-up spot in his B-Main behind Mason Zeigler, Chase locked into the 20th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Passing five cars in the 50-lap affair, Chase Junghans registered a 15th place outing. (Zach Yost Racing Photography)
