Tennessee Tipoff brings Chase Junghans to Smoky Mountain

On Saturday afternoon, Chase Junghans returned with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the ninth annual Tennessee Tipoff. Drawing 51 cars, Junghans failed to qualify for the feature via his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. Coming short of a transfer position, Chase was forced to resort to a provisional into the show. With $12,000 on the line, Junghans passed 13 cars in the 50-lap affair to finish 19th.
