Eighth-place finish with LOLMDS at BRP

Following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Chase Junghans was one of 47 Late Models entered at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Fla.) on Monday afternoon for the two-day K&N Filters Winternationals. After placing fourth in his heat race, Junghans secured his spot into the A-Main with a consolation victory. Racing forward six positions in the 40-lap feature, Chase recorded a 13th-place outing. On Tuesday, Chase laid down the fifth-fastest time in his group before picking up an eight-lap heat race victory. Rolling off third for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Junghans faded five positions to finish eighth.
